Probably somewhere in Canada, so I’d have a good climate and live in a country that sucked less.

I’m sorry that you experienced that :( I had a similar experience when I was in Turkey (my family is Turkish) a couple of years ago, where they forced me to shave my under arm hair and they tried to get me to shave my legs too. I was so saddened it was a horrible experience.
