Whew! Today did not go the way I wanted it in terms of this workout, but it got done. Woohoo!! I felt great about that one! I jogged way more than I expected and I feel so amazing! Wow! Wow! Wow! That was good. Today I signed up to run for my school's first and second grade sports day! That should be interesting 😂😂 Anyway, I will NOT be working out tomorrow because I will be celebrating finishing my Korean classes! That's really why I put in more work, but I didn't expect to do as well or as much as I did. Exactly 30 minutes! I really want to chop this by 5 minutes, but lights also play a roll in my workout. 😭😭😭😭😭 my legs really hurt today, but I still did it! I tried my best to push, but I was a silly person today and didn't stretch before the jog. Had to walk more than I wanted to, partially with a limp, but I definitely won't be forgetting my stretching tomorrow !! I'm really doing my best to keep this up. Today at lunch I still felt hungry, but I told myself no more pasta and to judt finish your fruit slowly, then leave. It was so hard because that pasta was darn good, but I had 2 starches with my school lunch. Pasta and rice. I'm proud of myself. I'm getting places mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Thursday workout was longer than usual. I was walking in place for about 20 minutes and was talking with a coworker. Then got back to my workout. Last night I started later than usual, but got it in! So glad thay I went. Wednesday I didn't go, so I really put in more work Thursday. After 4 days of speed walking with a bit of jogging and trying not to overdo it with eating~ The scale says -4 lbs(-1.8kg) in about a weeks time (I finally changed the batteries and it's acting right now). I will try to weigh in every Friday or Saturday morning depending on my schedule. Just once a week check is enough. I don't want to rely on the scale as I know it is not the most important thing. What's great is. That means I have not only hit my goal for the month, but passed it with only 2 days left in the month!! Wahoo!! Trying to decide what my small goal should be for the month of October. Maybe -3lbs in the month October and more limiting of sugary items minus ice cream though! Lol, I love ice cream and want to still be happy, but we'll see. Weekly, at least trying to jog at the start or end of every workout. Anyway, I'm going to continue on this #journeytofreedom. Working out has really helped me stay out of the negative places in my mind and to build on the positive.
