“James, you are not going to believe this!”
“I... haven’t seen any sign of your Mime Jr., yet. I’m sorry. But I found something else out in the forest, and I really think you’ll want to hear about it!”
This isn’t the sort of thing that Todd could possibly keep to himself, but the number of people in the city who would understand just how incredible his discovery is is rather small. So while he had hoped that the next time he saw James, it would be with good news about the trainer’s poor Pokemon, he had simply had to come find the other man as soon as he could-- Mime Jr. or no.
“Take a look at this!”
He turns his camera around, practically shoving the screen in James’s face. On the display is a lovely photo, taken with an unsurprisingly high level of skill. What is surprising is the figure in the center; caught in the middle of its serenade is a Pokemon that has yet to be listed in any Pokemon Report, Pokedex, or guidebook.
“I was right. There are wild Pokemon here, and they’re amazing! This one even talked to me-- what do you think of that?”
