Honestly what just happened… It’s incredible how humble these dancers I have the honor to work alongside. We’ve gone the past few weeks not expecting a thing out of this competition except to be able to share the stage with each other again. (Low key we were really hoping to just not be last place LOL) Even though lot of us went home early because of the demands of adulting, those of us spread throughout the auditorium had these similar reactions when maker empire was called for 2nd place. “Wait hey what’d he say?” “DAFUQ??” Literally we all were so genuinely surprised at the thought. We all talked for a good half hour about our reactions and I could go on about it but it’d be an essay and I suck at telling stories but ugh it was hilarious. It’s just truly a wonderful thing to do something so wholeheartedly with people you love not expecting a thing and then being rewarded with such an honor. Love this weird amalgamation of wacky people!
