Spent an amazing day yesterday with library and Mozilla friends at Bibliotheekservice Fryslan in the Netherlands. Left early (yes, early!!) in the morning from Stockholm, took the morning flight to Amsterdam and a connecting train to Leeuwarden. Spent 3 intense hours demoing and discussing makerboxes, digital literacies and libraries. Then the same route but backwards. Phew! But, hey, it was worth the effort! So nice to meet generous and open minded collegues who are curious about new collaborative learning methods. On Monday they are kick-starting a new digital literacy training initiative for library staff in the region, and I feel happy and proud of having been invited to be part of it :)
