(idk what I really consider myself but my parents are muslim and it definitely has some impact on how I live my life. This includes not eating pig meat)

I'm not muslim, I was a very picky child (twas the autism but we didn't know) and according to my mom I started refusing to eat red meat (pork and beef) when I was about 3 (I know it's as long as I remember but I didn't know I was that young tbh)? I've tasted forms of either a couple times throughout the years since everyone always is like "oh you're missing out (blank) is so good!" and I've never liked the taste or texture (in fact I very much dislike them)

I do feel for other people who don't eat pork, no matter the reason, because (at least in America) it is very much Assumed that everyone eats and enjoys pork products (bacon, sausage, hot dogs, ham... idk there's probably more), so much so that I've had people get offended or mad at me just for mentioning I dont eat then when offered
