I went down to Hayle yesterday with lots of Christmas stock for Makers Store - my Christmas cards, wrapping paper, gift tags and new bookmarks are all now for sale there. They’ve done a good job of patching the shop back together after a car crashed into the storefront! Making the best of a bad situation, Taliesin has finished painting a colourful mural over the chipboard while waiting for more extensive repairs. They are open again, so if you’re in the area do stop by for a look. In the other window, there’s a temporary exhibition for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of the sales from the range of specially created artwork and ceramic pieces will be going to breast cancer charities, so extra reason to pay a visit.
