I of course as a kid took this for granted. Now as an adult who’s a health nerd, I can say wholeheartedly that I am beyond grateful for being raised this way, AND for being sent home with a bag of green gold every time I come and visit. Side note, my mom is also wildly generous (see what I did there??), but for real she’s one of the most generous people I’ve ever met, and she not only gifts her garden goods to so many, she also tends to the gardens of many others so they can have their own goodies 💖 #purelove _ One day I hope to have a huge garden of my own.
