7 p.m.: Touch up my lips with a double coat of Besame Red Velvet 1946 while waiting backstage.

7:30 p.m.: Begin 2-hour stage show. Sip water throughout.

9:30 p.m.: Finish show. Chug remains of bottle of water.

10 p.m.: Go to restaurant. Drink more water. Eat steak. Eat broccoli.

12 a.m.: Arrive home.

12:14 a.m.: Take this selfie of lipstick that has not been touched up in five hours and has survived a stage show and a full steak dinner.

hey so uh...random question. anyone got any recommendations for (not crazy expensive) makeup brush sets? i need a new set really badly, but I don’t think I want to pay more than 50 (if even that much) for one.

i dont have an exact eyeliner rec but every time ive tried to buy a felt-tip liner its worked like once then come out gray every time after and its horrible

ive used felt tipped a couple of times, but i’m not a fan just for that reason (esp when the product starts to run out gOD) so i always stick to using liquid liners that have a brush tip for them

I have been in search of a nice dark green shimmery nail polish for my toenails, for a number of years now. Why is that so hard to find?

I recently bought this nail polish, thinking that it might be a close enough match to what I'm looking for,

and i painted my toenails with it this morning and it looks absolutely disgusting - baby poop green - on my skin tone. So that sucks.

Looking for recommendations!

Any of my girlies here have an opinion of tubing mascara?

I'm thinking about trying it, since I figured out that removing mascara makes my eyes swell and all that, and apparently tubing mascara shouldn't cause that same effect because it comes off differently. But I am scared lol I've had enough issues with mascara (and makeup in general) for long enough now that I'm scared of trying anything new and having to deal with a fucked up face for a couple of days.

Everything I've read online says tubing mascara shouldn't bother my eyes or skin at all but I'm still hesitant and would really appreciate some experienced input.

I’d say the Colourpop BFF liquid liners are pretty good if u want a felt-tip eyeliner and Pacifica waterproof eyeliner is a good pencil liner (both are cruelty free and vegan!)

Anyway. Ladies, does anyone have a recommendation for a brown mascara that actually looks brown, and not just like a light shade of black? I bought a brown mascara last week and I'm wearing it for the first time today and it just looks like I'm wearing one very light coat of black mascara 😐

I’m trying to figure out what lipstick to buy!! I love orange toned ones, like the smashbox liquid lipstick “Out Loud” (pretty sure my absolute favorite fall lipstick) but I wanna try different things!!
