Mascara That Gets The Job Done

👋🏼Morning y’all, almost MDW— WOOHOO! Thank goodness for warm weather, delicious food, and planning vacations with friends, family, and bf of course. Over the past weekend my best friend and I were rushing into CVS to pick up some makeup remover to scrub the mess off our faces from the night before.. and we came across the makeup aisle. She realized she needed a new mascara, then I agreed I could use a new one as well. Now remember I use 6 different mascaras LOL i’m totally kidding, I actually use 3... it’s one of the most important aspects to your face what can I say 🤷🏻‍♀️. Anyways, as we were searching we couldn’t make a decision so we googled the best mascara—- and Colossal Waterproof came up first (yellow bottle from Maybelline). My first reaction was, that’s the best one around? I used that when I was in middle school and it’s still the best one?? After over analyzing a $10 mascara and I realized it wouldn’t be a huge loss to give it another shot. Today I asked my bestie (Taylor), what she thought (post purchase evaluation) about the mascara,

“I like that it’s not flakey and it’s good for layering multiple coats to get the level of volume you want, gets the job done.”

She said it, it gets the job done and 100% is nice for layering... especially since I use Clinique and Better Than Sex Water Proof mascara on top of the Colossal. Well there you have it folks— Tay and I 100% would agree with that random Seventeen Magazine article, that it certainly is one of the best mascaras around🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. Signing off for now 🙈.

MIA MUCH?

Hey good morning, **rubs eyes** — anyone else dying over this allergy season?? I have been a bit MIA lately, life gets in the way sometimes as you all know. As most of you can relate, allergy season really makes us look more exhausted than we actually are and I’m not sure about anyone else, but my dark under eyes show more around this season than most. That is why Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector is a saint from heaven. The medium to deep tint is the perfect corrector to get rid of those dark/ tired under eyezzzzz! You use it after you apply your liquid foundation or before your powder foundation ( whatever your preference is) then apply your concealer on top and BAM you look like you had the best sleep of your life :-). Honestly wish I heard of this eye corrector a long time ago, but now it’s stuck with me for life. I have a lot more to share, but there is not enough time in the day! I will make some more updates this week on some tricks on how to not look as exhausted as you probably are! Until next time 😎! Signing off for now!
