Throwback to the first and only time I’ve done my makeup in over three weeks, featuring my little three-legged bonus baby, Jackie 💕 . . . It’s been a handful of days since my last post, and to be fully transparent, I’m struggling with what or how much to share right now. . . If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably seen a few stories or posts about my sassy, fiery, amazing little grandmother, Agnes. You may have also seen that she was diagnosed with cancer last year. It’s been a long year, with many ups and downs, and she’s put up one hell of a fight, but, in the midst of this insane global pandemic, her fight is finally coming to an end. I’m feeling a full range of emotions, from intense anger, to overwhelming sadness, to relief - because though my heart is aching, her pain will finally come to an end. . . I haven’t been creating much lately, or had the energy to invest in even thinking about content to share. But over the weekend, Alex and I planned a little date night in, we got all dressed up, I wore some of my grandmother’s favorite gold jewelry, and did my hair and makeup for the first time in what feels like five years. . . .
