He is a God of Detail. I made my request known to God, and on my list was to have a east light facing master bedroom, a home filled with the eastern morning light to sweetly kiss the sleepy faces of my family as we awaken to a new day filled with abounding grace, and opportunity to serve. I searched, and searched, and searched and searched for many months without success. I panicked, at times lost faith and cried on the phone with my mom about inflation and the cost of housing these days, and of my disappointment. My mother stood in the gap, as she always does. She is a mighty prayer warrior. I made fear based decisions that thankfully God didn't allow to work out, at that time though, I questioned his plans. Is he in this? Does he care? With much prayer, I circled back to laying it all down at his feet so to speak. When I learned to let it go, relinquish, and surrendered my request, desires, control, and my relentless search, and to trust God solely and completely, my agony of the struggle I had created and allowed myself to suffer over this situation immediately came to an end. My entire Eastside of my new home has near floor to ceiling windows, east facing morning light.
