Verse: Wrong side of the spotlight
Ulric Milkovich, twin of Ultear, brother to Gray and Lyon -- though they were adopted -- and son of Ur Milkovich, one of the best managers in the music business, it was no wonder that music was in his blood. He grew up around the scene and watched his mother’s clients go from no one to chart toppers overnight, seen how fast the industry worked and the worst happen to the absolute best and it should’ve been a deterrent but his love of music had never been something in question.
As young as six Ur had been taking him to gigs and he’d loved every second of them, the music, the atmosphere, the supporters, it had all spoken to him in ways he couldn’t begin to describe and as such he had been one of the first to pick it up. At nine he’d already started playing the piano but as much as he loved it, it wasn’t for him, then at an after party one night a band member had taken him aside and taught him a few chords and that was it. He went home that night with Ur and begged her to get him a bass guitar.
Loving the sound he could now create, rock being his favourite, he stuck at it and when his sister and brothers began learning instruments too he was ecstatic. They might not have gotten along so well most days but when they played together they were phenomenal and as a family, it didn’t matter how much they got on each other's nerves, they could never walk away too angry.
During their early 20′s, they created their own unique sound and style together, finally recording a few songs and releasing an album under the band name Frozen Oasis, Ur as their manager. They were an instant hit and shot to fame. Their tours always fully booked out.
Ric took to the rockstar life easily, he loved the attention and the fans, the energy he felt when he was on stage making music with his siblings but one of the things he loved most was the women. Despite it all, though, there was something missing, what it was he didn’t know but for now, he was going to just enjoy the life he’d built for himself.
