A deep blush touched his cheeks as the woman sat on him, such contact with someone that he barely knew was rather odd to him after all, and he faltered for a moment as he tried to decide the best and most appropriate place for him to place his hands. In the end, he decided to have one resting on the table beside him whilst the other just hung limply, though the most comfortable looked as though it would be around her waist, he simply wasn’t comfortable enough to place them there.

Taking a breath now he shook his head free of thoughts before blushing more as she started to purr, to think a woman could make such a sound and cause him to blush further was rather astonishing to him, he hadn’t heard many people purr of all things but it sure was distracting and he only just managed to muster up a greeting after he grew slightly more accustomed to it.

Inter-guild jobs were never going to work out like this, at least one member from every guild present was involved, and all he could do was sigh whilst rubbing his brow a little.

She had a point though, he was unlikely to be the smartest person in the room, you could rarely measure intelligence by appearances however he was the only one smart enough to not get involved and attempt to take charge where everyone else has just stood around, waiting for their guild mates to finish. Taking the initiative to plan while the others were all busy hitting each other, in his eyes, made him the smartest.

A deep sigh left his lips as he looked over and saw Chelia talking to a guild member, two of his fingers moving to rub his temples slightly as he noticed said guild member walking off looking rather sad after having spoken to her. Honestly, he was slightly surprised she hadn’t been as moody as usual lately however with Wendy leaving he expected the mood swings to pick up any day now, he was just hoping they wouldn’t be as bad as when Sherry left.

Rubbing his eyes a bit he allowed his hand to drop before standing from his seat beside Yuka and walked over to the now alone Chelia, his hand moving to rest on her shoulder as he frowned a little and looked her in the eye. He knew it was hard for her, knew that yet another transition would make things even worse but he refused to coddle her as often as others would, yes it may have been strict but it was purely for her own benefit and if she really needed some cuddles and comfort afterwards, he’d be more than happy give them.
