7. Your muse insists our muses share a blanket to keep warm

The invitation to the movie had been a surprise, but this was a little different.

Walking out of the academy, Mei looked around the school grounds. She was looking to head out today, try something new and all, but she didn’t really want to go alone. Unfortunately, the people she usually spoke with were busy studying or out doing their own thing. She figured that she’d just wing it and ask any random person.

Well, not just any random person. She was looking around for someone who seemed nice and fun. Though it wasn’t nice to judge a book by its cover, Mei didn’t have time to fully acquaint herself with people. So after inspecting the nearly empty campus, she caught sight of a rather interesting looking man. She decided that he was good enough. All she had to do now was convince him she wasn’t a creep and was just in need for some company.

"Um, hello there sir!" She spoke cheerfully as she came up to him. She took a deep breath, trying to calm down. Really, the worst he could do was say ‘no’. "I know this sounds really weird but…, would you like to join me for a walk around the city? I mean, you don’t have to but I’m looking for some company so.."
