Making of Monday
Inspired by @yourfavoritefridge recent conversations with other writers about their creative process - I vote we (any authors interested) start posting a Making of Monday (akin to WIP Wednesday) where we share basically a behind the scenes from one of our works - past, present, or WIP!
Post...what? Think bonus content DVD features - anything interesting from the "making of" your fic. Pick a scene to discuss its inspiration or how it changed over the course of your drafts. Share your original outline, notes, or other planning. Call out your own favorite part and tell why. Post a deleted scene. It can look like anything you, the author, want.
I know that I love sharing these tidbits. I think as a writer I could learn from a peak into other authors' creative process, and as a reader I love hearing about them! Participate as often as you'd like - weekly if that floats your boat or just whenever you have something particularly interesting to share. Thoughts?
