Making Puppets: I painted the craft foam turtle shell with an airbrush, adding a bit of texture and depth. More pics tomorrow. Making puppets: okay, I seen together the fleece patterns using the infamous “Henson-Stitch.” I’ve never hand-sewn anything before so the work might be a little sloppy. I attached the dry foam head into the mouth mechanism using hot-glue. Then I glued the felt mouth plates to the popsicle stick framework with rubber cement. Next, I fitted the fleece around the foam head and glued the edges of the lips of the fabric to the felt mouth plates also using rubber cement.
