Hello October and the beginning of breast cancer awareness month. You may not know but Avon is the first National Presenting Sponsor for the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to fight this deadly disease. Fundraising has been different this year but the need is still there. In 2020 about 279,100 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed. The American Cancer Society gives cancer information, answers, and hope and is remarkably available every minute of every day. Breast cancer isn’t going on pause and neither can we. Many beautiful people gathered to make strides against breast cancer in the Washington DC area. It was a wonderful day filled with so many emotions. Thank you to all who donated, walked, prayed, cheered, brought awareness or made this event happen. We honor all who are battling breast cancer, is a survivor or lost their lives to the dreadful disease. Someday there will be a cure. Until then we will continue the fight!
