Ever start a project, get 3/4 the way done, and absolutely h@te it? That happened, so I'm starting over on the blanket. Last time, the hook was too big, there was a 'chain 1' that didn't need to be there, and I was hooking into the stitches as if it was a granny square, not a stitch 2 rows ago for a tighter stitch. If you're thinking "You've been working on that for years!", you're half right. I work on it for like an hour at a time every few months. This is one of those things I painted and never intended to share. It was done back in October 2022, and it was just a doodle turned painting of my dog. 

The whole point of this page is to share the stuff I produce in my spare time- no rules, no expectations, no agenda. Just me making stuff. If I want to continue doing that, I am actively posting this work despite my inner voice screaming --- “NO! Not that one!”

I’m up to 15 balustrades, and I’m clearly getting better at mixing concrete. Making number 16 today and I think once I’m at 18(?) I can start building the platform for them but that involves a lot of digging a removal of invasive bamboo roots. So yeah.
