Inside your closet: Ways to organize your closet effectively. When I looked at my closet when I moved into my apartment I saw a little space that would be almost impossible to hold all my clothes. So my wheels got to turning I had to figure out a way to maximize my little space to fit everything 1. Buy velvet Hangers They are far less bulky than the regular plastic hangers and come in pants hangers as well so that you can hang more than one bottom on a hanger. 2. Decide which area of your closet will be designated for what Since my space is pretty much a tiny wall space with three different areas of bars I decided to make the first bar on the left be for my shirts I start off with crop tops and end that roll with long shelved shirts. The roll under that is for bottoms and as I mentioned earlier I have hanger that I can hold more than one bottom on so that allows me to get all of my skirts, pants, and jeans on that roll effectively. And my third and final roll on the right is for my cardigans, blazers, dresses, and jumpsuits all lined up in that order. 3. Decided how you want to place each item in your closet As mentioned earlier it is extremely important when you are trying to maximize your space you take into consideration how you want each item you need in your closet placed it can be the make or break of your space. 4. Play with your organization until it works You may not get your placement of items right the first time but I advice you to keep playing around with how you place the item on the hanger or how you organize your bottoms dresses and shirts when they are actually in your closet. It may take a couple of tries and you might have to organize I little different than how I explained I organized my closet up above but when you get it you will love it and it will save you so much space.
