For now, I'm glad that Makoto's backstroke event came first.
Imagine what would've happened if the free event came first and Makoto's feelings were so down? Made me imagine of Makoto like how Rin was last season's free finals and it breaks my heart.
(Although in my opinion Makoto would never cry or break down in front of Haru when it comes to swimming; more like he'll just bottle it all up to himself instead of worrying Haru.)
