12. What was your last dream about?
My husband and I had gotten a new house, which I don't remember why because our current house is fine. It was an old house actually, with three big bedrooms, two kind of open and facing each other and upstairs, with the third in the basement. Jeremy and I were taking the one in the basement as our main bedroom, and letting my sister and cousin crash in the other two. We discovered, however, that the basement was damp and a little moldy, and also the bedroom wasn't the right fit for us, so we went upstairs and were going to switch with my cousin, who had only been there for a couple of hours anyway. There was a lot of colorful old paint and many random closets and cupboards, and while I was hanging up photos and a shelf, Jeremy found a broken stepladder in one closet. Naturally, he went outside to bury it in the yard, in nothing but cargo shorts, at (in the dream) 3am. There were neighbors in an apartment building complaining about the noise, but when I went outside to talk to Jeremy, he was vehement about laying the stepladder to rest in the semi-twilight, so I let him and went back inside. I found a cupboard with scary photos in it. The end.16. Favorite movie?

Eh, it's all right. It's the most common girl's name of my generation, in my region, so there were always other Jessicas in all my high school and college classes. Right now one of the temps in my area is a Jessica. I think I would have liked Jillian better, but my parents were heavy into biblical names. I like my middle name, though, because Ruth is less common and kind of pretty.
