I’m watching a ball game. And the pitcher was just pulled for an injury, so there is background vamp music while the replacement is warming up.

And it’s “Feel So Close”.

And damn if I’m not remembering every bloody step of Meryl and Maks’ tango.

This made my impromptu walk down memory lane so much easier!

You know what? I don’t think I properly appreciated her Argentine tango with Val until I just rewatched it. I think that was the single most flawlessly executed performance we’ve ever seen. I love it. 

But also the foxtrot. And the freestyle. And the tango.

Ughh, I shouldn’t have done it, but I did it. I went down the rabbit hole. And I know they’re both in happy, loving relationships now, but I STILL say there was something there! 🤷🏻‍♀️
