But to give some info on two of this blogs characters-

Mal and Sheilas voiceclaims are the dub versions of Aizawa and Ms.Joke from My Hero Academia!

Their dynamic is also kinda similar!

Ngl thinking about it for my lil AU thing

Maybe, if you failed to recruit the necessary number of Darkners in order to have Susie fix up Tenna at the end of chapter 3, Susie could instead suggest bringing the busted up Tenna to the school(or it most likely happens the same way it does in canon with them finding him on the lawn in the rain and Susie rushing him to the school to avoid him getting more damaged)

And basically kicks Mals door in while hauling in a broken Tenna+his arms like "MAL YOURE GOOD WITH ROBOTICS, RIGHT?"

Mal, whos just gotten up from his first time sleeping in three days, starts to respond with a "Kid you don't have yell-" before seeing the broken Tenna and going "WHO THE FUCK IS THAT- GET HIM IN MY WORKSHOP-"

And Tenna gets fixed up that way and THAT'S how him and Sp.Ex meet again in my au

Since Sp.Ex would've been at Castle Town during the events of Chapters 3&4 lol

AU Rant about Spamton and his Mobility aids

So I mentioned it in his ref sheet

But in my au, Spamton requires mobility aids in order to move around on his own due to the damage his body obtained during the NEO fight

With one leg being extremely cracked and painful to walk on while the other leg has just surface cracks, his joints in his legs are prone to chronic aches that get worse if he moves too much in a day

His hands are also damaged some too, sometimes he loses feeling in them for anywhere from a few minutes to potentially hours

Healing magic/items help somewhat but it more so treats the symptoms as opposed to the actual issues

The EX body Mal made him was made mostly to help deal with this as well as just because Spamton wanted it, so in a way it's also a kind of a disability aid too, I believe. When he's in his Dealmakers form and inhabiting the EX body he no longer has his mobility issues, but he still gets phantom pains and aches, unfortunately as much as Mal tries the only thing they can do is wait for said phantom pain to pass or try to distract him from it

But as I've mentioned before, Spamton can't use the EX body all the time, since Mal needs to take him out most of the time to do routine maintenance, repair damage, and to install updates. The last in particular being the biggest reason since Mal doesn't wanna run the risk of any firewall or anti-virus update to attack Spamton while he's in the body. Usually after an update it's safe for him to come and go as he pleases as he's a registered user.

And also what the possible psychological effects of seeing Mal disconnecting and replacing parts is not something either of them wanna find out.

So Spamton either A. Stays in his item form, which reduces his chronic pain since, you know, body is pretty much gone, or B. Goes back to his normal small form so he doesn't have to rely on others moving him around

In his small form his main mobility aids are two different types of canes, as shown below

(Tho they're customized to fit Spamton exclusively, as well as being custom appearance/design wise)

And a spamton-sized motorized wheelchair if he needs to go out and about in Castle Town while the EX body is being dealt with

There's also a sort of "bug out" bag that they have for Spam that's got painkillers, compression socks, braces, etc etc for him just in case his pain gets bad while they're not at home

I'm still figuring out what other things I should have them do/what other symptoms Spamton would have, so expect me to add onto this sometime lmao
