Post-coitus Song and Malaicat please? Really like the idea. :}
Malaicat's breathing was heavy and lethargic. Song idly played with Malaicat's hair, laying next to them in bed. Song's hand traveled down, fingers trailing along Malaicat's jawline. Every touch felt pacifying on their sensitive skin. Turning their head to face their partner, Malaicat smiled; Song, smiling back, closed the distance between them, the couple meeting together in a slow, gentle smooch. Malaicat broke the kiss, rolling onto their side towards Song. Palatable silence grew between them as they stared at each other, before it was shortly interrupted by a fit of giggling from the unlikely couple.
“Oooh, did you have fun babe?” Song asked, the young doctor wrapping their arms around their partner's neck.
“Of course I did! How could I not have had fun when I'm with you?” Malaicat responded, wrapping their arms around Song's waist, pulling them closer. Song blushed bashfully, burying their head in the crook Malaicat's neck. They chuckled, petting Song's head. Song hummed into Malaicat's neck, a content warmth flooding them. Song shyly slipped their hand into Malaicat's, slowly rubbing their thumb with their own; Malaicat squeezed their hand.
“It's true, you know” Malaicat whispered. Song curled up against them.
“I believe you” They were lying. They didn't really believe that, at their core, they were someone who was fun, or really even good, to be around. But their partner seemed so convinced, so it must have some truth in what they say. Malaicat began idly rubbing their back; the small, slow circles made the muscles in their back relax, making Song into a soft, warm puddle of datemate. Malaicat sighed grinning.
“How is it even possible for you to be this cute? I'm pretty sure it's illegal” Malaicat said sarcastically. Another fit of laughter was shared; Song put their forehead on Malaicat's.
“Well then” Song said between giggles “I guess I'm just your criminal”
Malaicat's already flushed face turned an even deeper red, their laughter becoming louder. But, like all loud things, it eventually faded out, and there they were, quietly, lovingly, intertwined. The flushed faces had mostly faded, heart beats and breathing had slowed, an entropy of the lovers energy, but not of their love. Song was still rubbing Malaicat's thumb with their own, but the movements had become lethargic. Eyes grew heavy, a great deal quicker than Malaicat was used to, or even expected. They shivered. The air around them felt cold once again.
Propping themself upon an elbow, they reached over to retrieve the comforter from the ground, as to which neither of the couple knew how it ended up on the floor, but it had. Only being met with a mild protest of a quiet whine when they seperated, Malaicat quickly pulled the blanket over themself and Song. Song responded to the return of their partner by latching onto them, much like a koala. Smiling, Malaicat gently patted their head. Responding in kind to Song, Malaicat wrapped themself around their partner protectively.
The same slow, caring, post catharsis warmth built up once again, enveloping the couple as happily tangled together, they drifted off into a deep, content, slumber.
