Ok I'm very special about this so if you like magia record and don't want to read a rant bout it skip it :)

yeah bro idk the hype with that one. The only salvageable parts are the concept of doppels and the section with holy mami, but the rest? Like it's ok if you liked it bc you played the game and everything else, but most of the characters are basic and suffering from too-many-people-to-actually-care-about-you syndrome. And it doesn't help that the main cast has a very hardcore parallel thing with the holy quintet bc of numbers and iroha is literally Walmart madoka.

I know the point of magia record is expanding on the concept of wishes and what could be done if a bunch of nerds were given the opportunity to wish anything they want, but for starters the existence of godoka is completely broken just for this anime to exist and the justifications of 'nooo if I touch it I'm breaking everything' are very weird for a literal god whose existence broke the whole universe and recreated it no problem.

Ofc the worst part is the heavy monetization and the "buy an entire country worth of gacha, merch and more" energy it's not sympathizing with me. I've seen Alina's lore in game, and it really doesn't translate to the show at all, and many other characters loose meaning and personality.

And like, the good animation parts are very confusing and I would rather have them slowed down a bit so I could understand them.

But that is just preference at the end of the day, you are free to like whichever show you like and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
