I'd hoped the hair would look okay even when seen up close, and that I could add some convincing body hair, but for now I'll have to be satisfied with the limitations of the painting program I'm using, and call this project done. With that, here's the finished "life-like" edit of one of the photographs of my Australopithecus sediba sculpture, digitally altered to add postcranial mass, cranial hair, teeth whitening, eye coloring and glossiness, skin coloring, and a background photograph from the Malapa archaeological site.
