Gardens of Malasag Escapade

I have a short free time so I’m gonna posting in this blog, after 759739549 months. LOL.

Gardens of Malasag Eco-tourism Village, as it is called, is one of the hit tourist destinations here in Misamis Oriental, and I considered myself lucky for visiting it even in just for awhile.

This place is describe as a provider of excellent service and superior facilities, making an unforgettable stay for its visitors. Guests can also enjoy provided shops, car park, meeting facilities, coffee shop, and restaurant while lodging in this village.

I went there with my “that’s my tomboy” cousin. Hehe. According to Manong Guard, this place is crowdy during Sundays but since it was not Sunday when we went there, so it’s just two of us during that moment. It’s kinda scary but since this collegaue of mine is a “boy”, I acted brave as she did.

Inside the village is so much more of a village. There are parks, aviary, zoo, villas, pool and lots of flowers. Malasag Gardens is a site away from busy traffic of the city. Thus, it provides a perfect ambiance for entities who wants get-away and relaxation. In there, there is also a wide videoke bar, a place for singing-wannabes, and also, cozy restaurants and souvenier shops.

There are also souvenir shops in there, where I managed to buy some items for my collections.

Stairways are so endless. It taught me how to be patient. Hehe.

Cousin and I were on the search of the Hanging Bridge, and we saw these bahay-kubos. Until now, I didn't know what it is for. SRSLY, we don't have tourist guide, just a paper guide and I didn't manage to look. Okay? later.

This photo is taken at the aviary. I am beside my cousin's kambal. Haha. Joke.

Oh, oh, snakes. They look so scary. Seriously, not.

A place full of white orchids, really. It's a perfect place for weddings.

I failed to take a photo of the whole garden and I'm so sad. This picture is a lot more wider though.

There are air-conditioned rooms in there. Malasag Gardens is also considered as 1-star hotel.

So, that's all! I'm sorry I can't give you more details. It's just an hour tour. We didn't even reached the Hanging Bridge. It is so saddening, my cousin and I had to arrive sooner in their house for a gathering. I'll feed you more details the next time I get there. I promised my friends that we will be in this magical place soonest. So, so? I don't want to be excited.

Life may give us negative reasons to view it negatively. However, there’s more in life also. We just have to open our eyes and feel the positivity within. God has provided wonderful things that are surely appreciative and make us realize how lucky we are to live a life in this world. Have a ample life friends! How to get at Gardens of Malasag Eco-tourism Village:

1. From the airport, ride a vehicle going to Cagayan de Oro City, a shuttle probably.

2. Then, ride an RC or RD jeepney, going to Barangay Cugman and tell the driver to stop at a certain crossing for Malasag or Mapawa.

3. Ride a single motor or typically "habal-habal" (bisayan word) going to Gardens of Malasag Eco-tourism Village. The habal-habal will take you directly to the place. The transpo fee only cost P7.00. Enjoy!
