Malcolm sat in the box surrounded by his extended family by marriage and a few other complicated connections. He stared at the score and sighed heavily as he placed his hand under his chin. He glanced over at his girlfriend then looked back at the field, “This is outrageous.”

“No no, drink, please drink,” he said needing her to not die like this, he told her not to follow him and yet she took the bullet for him. She was a human he’d be in a lot of pain but at least he’d survive, “Please don’t die on me I need you.”

Malcolm hadn’t actually expected Roman to show up at the dinner party when he’d invited him. He was sure that the boy would be invited to other parties, as he had, and wouldn’t want to attend something that was carefree. Which really just meant getting completely drunk would be frowned open in comparison to at a pool party. “I hope you’re having fun here. These parties are either boring or way to eventful.” He smiled as he approached the boy, offering him a glass of champagne.
