She gave a quiet thanks as she took the drink, sipping on it as she sat back. “Oh yeah, that would definitely be worse.” Ophelia winced. “Seeing you like this definitely makes me happy I never got into sports.”

“Listen to me carefully, Phe,” Marcie spoke to her friend, giving Ophelia the look. “I’m going to be away for two weeks but there is no way in hell I’m going to let you not decorate your place for the holidays. It’s a must,” she spoke as she walked into the living room and waved her wand to summon the various decorations she had with her. “Maybe that will make you less gloomy,” she added with a teasing smirk.

Ophelia rolled her eyes. “And here I thought I was going to get away with it this year.” She sighed, getting up from her seat to look at some of the decorations she’d brought. “I do draw the line at creepy angel babies,” She said, holding one up that she assumed was supposed to be cute. Instead it just seemed haunted.

Ophelia shrugged. “Great, that means my job should be easy.” They smirked. “I actually made it out fine. I was by Diagon Alley but far enough away from most of the chaos that I just stayed in a shop until it blew over.” Leaving out their part in the action, she was mostly truthful about her role in everything.

She nodded, giving him a small smile. “Yeah of course- honestly anything to get out of work at this point.” Ophelia laughed. “This is nice though, Marcie did a great job.”

Ophelia chuckled, “Honestly I’m not.” She smiled, leaning towards him to give him a one-armed hug. “I am surprised that I’m actually able to talk to you, didn’t think I’d get to steal you away from Emmett. Not that I would blame you.”

Oh really? Well I wouldn't be surprised considering I don't think I've ever seen that girl sober. Surprised she's lasted this long- or made it through law school at all. Guess Mommy and Daddy can't sweep this under the rug.
