i am having a lot of feelings about god!cas/sam--but where cas is just a very powerful deity from the start who didn't become god the way he did in s6, and while sam and dean are traveling around he starts appearing to sam in dreams, in messages on highway billboards they pass on the road, in random arrangements of things in nature; and he senses that sam has all this faith inside him so he sparks it before it can wane and like, i just need sam being visited by castiel's presence, and cas is an awesome god (in the traditional sense of the word) and sort of incomprehensible. and idk, it's some kinda 'american gods' type deal, cas is just an attendant in a gas station convenience store they stop at, but really he's a patron god of lost people or something? and sam goes up to the register to pay for his crappy coffee and a granola bar and sees cas behind the counter and just KNOWS this is the same entity that has been visiting him, and is maybe just a wavelength that feels like all the best and most fulfilling things sam has ever felt; and sam is just stuttering and stumbling through his words and cas is just like "hello, sam" and sam tries to explain it to dean but he can't put any kind of words to it, he can't write about it, he can't really even think about it, he can only experience it. and cas has this sort of raw power, which is frightening objectively but sam isn't frightened of him because cas never has made him feel anything but loved and affirmed in his presence, and here he is in some gas station in the middle of the country looking at sam with love in his eyes across the counter and it feels like this is both the first and the thousandth time they've met and when he takes off his work apron and clasps sam's hands in both of his sam feels alight with so many things, and when castiel says "hello, sam" sam's blood and heart sing and i juST ;u;

i just want dean's bad actions to stop being justified so i don't want demon!dean to be a sad cutesy patootsy i seriously want him to be straight up evil.
