You make him happy- Malec
Before we start this, Can we just say Magnus took in Madzie after what happened with Valentine.
Madzie noticed Magnus wasn’t his usual happy self. He was acting cold and wore a frown on his face all the time. It made her sad knowing he wasn’t happy.
She tried to figure out what could be wrong with him. Maybe he ran out of eyeliner? Maybe he dropped his glitter?.
She noticed too that Alec hasn’t been around in a while. She liked Alec, He would take her around New York with Magnus when he wasn’t busy on missions.
There was a gathering of all the warlocks of Brooklyn held in Magnus’s apartment. Everyone was eating and talking away to each other
She took a look at everyone, did they know her nana? Where is her nana?
She skipped up to Magnus while talking to another warlock, but she didn’t care if she was being rude, She had questions that needed to be answered.
“ Magnus!” She cheered at him. He brought her into his arms and said “ How are you on this glorious day sweet pea?”.
She didn’t know if she should ask but she did anyway, “ Where’s alec?”. She missed him.
Magnus’s smile dropped and his face froze. He cleared his throat and spoke, “ Uh ah he’s been very busy, with all that’s going on you know!” He tried to sound happy for her sake. She was sad and scared that Alec might forget about her. Magnus didn’t have the heart to tell her and the look on her face didn’t reassure him that she was okay with what he said. “Don’t worry princess, He’ll come back soon”. Magnus didn’t like lying to her. He knew a war was arising and he wasn’t fighting as Alec’s boyfriend. He was fighting as the warlock representative.
Madzie pondered off with an idea in her little mind. She went to her room and locked the door behind her. She did a locator spell to find where Alec was.
Once she found his location she opened a portal and went through to Alec’s location. She was portalled to the institute into his office.
She walked up to him while he was facing a wall talking to someone on the phone. She stood behind him until he got off the phone. She had many things going through her head. ’‘What if he doesn’t want me here?“. ” Does he like me?“.
He finally got off the phone and when he turned around he jumped and screamed when he saw the little girl in front of him. She laughed at how scared he got. He calmed down and smiled at the girl.
’'Madzie what are you doing here?” He was curious, why would she be here alone. She was trying to figure out what to say and Alec could tell she was nervous. He bent down in front of her and took her hand. “ Don’t worry its only me”. She sighed and felt relieved.
“ Magnus is acting sad. He doesn’t seem to be happy anymore and im worried about him and I want him to be happy Alec.”. He knew why Magnus was acting strange, and he took sympathy on the little girl. Before he spoke, she cut him off. “He needs to be happy Alec and you make him happier than anyone else, even me!”.
Alec smiled at the little girl, he felt somewhat happy to hear that he makes the person he loves happy.
“I promise when everything is over, I will come back to Magnus and we’ll take you anywhere, I promise.” He said. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck as his arms wrapped around her.
