emma tilted her head to the side in confusion as she gazed down at the man who had collapsed to his knees right in front of her eyes. the blonde had been walking back to the los angeles institute from her favorite vintage store; hidden treasures. this was definitely not something she was expecting to come across on the way. it almost seemed as if he had appeared out of thin air. she kneeled down, & placed a hand on his shoulder. ‘hey, you okay?’ that’s when the blonde noticed his runes. he was a shadowhunter.
‘i-i think i’m bleeding ...’ shocked features gazed down at all of the blood that was trickling out from her wound. she’d been stabbed in the stomach. cerulean hues rolled back, cecy was trying hard not to lose consciousness.

Tessa could hardly explain where the feeling came from, but she knew that she was right. It was nerve wracking really, sending Jamie to Allicante to get proper shadowhunter training. Afterall, look at the mother he had, she was so worried that she would somehow influence his training and his ability to make friends, maybe even find a parabatai.
“Will, are you sure he shall be fine? There might not have been explicit objections but what if they turn their disapproval on Jamie.”
She knew people could be cruel when one didn’t fit into their boxes and it was a harsh truth that Jamie didn’t fit in them because of her blood, because she gave him those eyes. To her they were beautiful but maybe to others they were probably just an extra confirmation of the slightest demon blood in his veins.

‘why were you cursed?’ eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. ‘no one really talks about you much, no offense. i suppose jem would, but he’s not around often.’ the mention of the word curse, caused her body to tense up. it made her think about the parabatai curse.
