Going from 'killing is the worst thing someone could do' to 'some people simply deserve it'. 

When she was younger she strongly believed in the first statement, but as time passed she began to realize that there are worse things than killing another and that some people really deserve it or had it coming.

to be ruled over, to be bent to the will of another, to have every decision, every breath every choice made for her by virute of ill birth is not something she would have herself willing return to. however, to bend those who wish to follow under her rule is equally undesirable. (she is not a leader. but, if forced, she would try. but to be rule over----never again.

easily, her sister. kind rica, brave rica, sweet rice who watched her family hardened under the world around them, who kept faith, who raised herself from dust to gold. sten. proud, unbent, unbroken in his faith. his friendship, his example a stolid inspiration. strength to hold fast against the tide.
