“Heeey!…Hey…how y’all doin’?😅” I come to you with a study, and I’m surprised at how well it turned out. I think I’m starting to get a better hang of enjoying the process and prioritizing learning over perfection. This only took a few hours to make really, it was just the final touches and formatting that took even MORE hours than I’d like to admit. But here are some takeaways I got from this study: ⭐️Know when to add and omit details (Look at how I chose to go for a more simplified face to contrast the clothes’ detail, creating a clearer focal point). ⭐️My caricature skills are better than I thought. ⭐️You don’t have to follow a set order of operations, and line art isn’t really a necessity in illustration. A more refined sketch is just fine, and helps keep the energy.
