So Malen catches the bouquet but ends up killing it rather quickly, so she decides to check with the florist who worked on the ruetho wedding. She liked the arrangement fair enough, and it might perk her up a bit while the ruetho wedding and honeymoon is still the buzz of town.
Cue Malen meeting this real life Persephone who is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and just keeps rambling on about flowers, and Malen can’t do anything but keep nodding along. She might as well have been shot through the heart by Cupid, but she is chastising herself internally like, “Didn’t you learn your lesson with Rue? You can’t fall in love with every pretty girl you see! What if she ends up having a husband and three kids?”
Meanwhile Freya thinks Malen is cute and likes flowers too, so after her long explanations, she gifts her a few seeds and asks if she’d like to check up on how they’re growing in a week, and Malen doesn’t know what to do but say yes.
