Post-game Siffrin and Mal du Pays slowly growing into having a more stable and healthy (not inherently romantic) relationship because Siffrin realizes that the pain of loss and grief and trauma will never completely go away and the best way to deal with it is not to push it away or bury it but to face it head on and care for it as they help both themselves and Mal become a person again, in addition knowing that they and their extremely poor mental health were a good part of the reason why Mal came into existence anyways so through learning to forgive Mal for what happened during the last loop they learn to forgive themselves for everything that happened and so they give love to the thing that was created to hurt because it too deserves love just like anybody else (and like Siffrin), and so Siffrin and Mal du Pays embrace one another, and even though it hurts sometimes they still have each other and will get through it all together
