i’m loopy and half asleep from cold medicine so i’m gonna random generate numbers for that last ask meme since the questions don’t seem in depth. i’ll prob include the 2 of the 3 inquisitors i made in the CC today (owain cadash, maxwell trevelyan, elisanna cadash) too just bc i’ve turned into otp trash for maxwell/elisanna/josephine. 

Adaashi Adaar - 6, 41, 16

6. Does your OC prefer tennis shoes/sneakers or flip flops?

i don’t think those exist in thedas so um, adaashi prefers soft leather shoes, sometimes with a heel to add even more imposing height (but not enough that she has to bend /far/ to get through doors). comfort is important to her, but they need to do their job as well. she’ll usually wear harder boots when out traversing tho.

41. Does your OC like/make puns?

Not at all. she’ll look at you like you are shit under her shoe if you do it, but she looks at most people like that anyway. 

16. Your OC is suddenly on an adventure! Where do they go and what do they do?

ha well. this is a loaded question considering the game this is from. her life is an adventure. from valo-kas mercs to herald to inquisition. she micromanages and makes sure everything goes her way, because she wants to be on top. i’m just gonna finish this one here and this isn’t even a real answer. 

Varaad Adaar - 1, 43, 9

1. A little-known talent of your OC?

He’s got a good ear and memory for song. His singing itself is a little sub par, but he’s nearly constantly humming. If that’s too known for little-known, he’s also quite good at acting out scenes form his favorite serial from memory. 

43. Your OC wakes up with a coin super glued to their forehead. How do they react?

Yell “Sera!!” out the balcony so she’ll be sure to hear it (she does it for the reactions anyway), and then since Dorian’s too busy laughing to help him he’ll have to shamefully walk over to Vivienne to see if she can get him out of the mess.

9. What chore does your OC hate the most?

Laundry. It wouldn’t be so bad if he didn’t have to bend so far over to do it, but he’s too tall and he hates pruney, raw fingers.

Malia Cadash - 41, 36, 46

41. Does your OC like/make puns?

She’s been known to make a few. Generally they’re dirty.

36. Your OC's favorite fashion era? (20's, 70's, etc)

Well this is Thedas so um. She thinks most fashion’s ridiculous (especially Orlesian, and she’ll generally ask Thom or Leliana or Josephine if they ever wore any of that ridiculous garb), but there’s something appealing to her about the furs the Avvar dress in. 

46. A word that your OC can't stand?

hmmm this is a difficult one. when she was in her 20s she’d have a visceral reaction to “ancestors” because at first she was tired of awkward humans asking her about Orzammar and saying weird phrases about “ancestors,” but then because it was something Bherik always said when swearing she was a little sensitive to it after his death.

Edric Cadash - 22, 5, 27

22. Does your OC get frustrated when people forget to close the door behind themselves?

when he’s stressed, maybe, but usually he’s the person to forget. he used to get mad when bull did it, but they’ve been walked in on so many times now that he’s just accepted it.

5. Your OC's worst habit?

passing off responsibilities. takes the credit when it goes well, but also sets himself up to play the blame game when things take a turn south. other than that, probably drinking into a stupor to make himself do something. 

27. Most despicable thing your OC has ever done?

he was in the carta. a lot of things were despicable. but probably selling a family friend out to move up in the carta. 

Maxwell Trevelyan - 14, 16, 12

14. Happy birthday! What kind of present would your OC want?

tickets to a theater show, or perhaps a new instrument, but those are the more expensive ones. something pretty and set with emeralds is always welcome, maybe a new broach or decorated blade. 

16. Your OC is suddenly on an adventure! Where do they go and what do they do?

ugh this one again. he’s trained to be an officer all his life so its. not unusual. goes to the places that need going to, helps the people that need help, goes where he’s told like a good little soldier. 

12. Would your OC play by the rules in a fight or take cheap shots?

by the rules for sure. he’s had a high moral ground and sense of honor sense he was a kid, even though he was of noble birth. it somehow wasn't beat out of him with all the nastiness that went on during his schooling.

Elisanna Cadash - 24, 42, 33

24. Something you like that your OC would hate?

elisanna wouldn’t like sewing much. anything worth anything comes to her made already. 

42. What kind of shampoo does your OC use?

something she paid way less for than was actually deserved and makes her hair soft as fur and shiny as hell.

33. A song that reminds you of your OC?

i’ll get back to this. i’m too cold-medicine-y to really think. maybe salty sweet by ms mr?

Adaars:

34. Is your OC a nail biter?

Adaashi—no, not particularly. she’s very controlled, very aware of her own body and makes sure she doesn’t show any nervous or stress habits. you can tell if she’s anxious or upset by how pursed her lips are, and how large her arm movements are when she’s fighting. 

Varaad—he occasionally chews on the side of his thumbnails, mostly when he’s reading a good book (or avoiding responsibility and rereading a book). he’s more prone to picking at the scar on his thumb from all the thumb sucking he did as a young kid though. 

26. Does your OC have good or bad posture?

Adaashi—perfect posture. occasionally she’ll slack when she’s alone or with someone she trusts wholly (which is very very few people, since she respects many but trusts few), but her back is as rigid as her personality, and her shoulders stand their full proud height. 

Varaad—terrible posture. he’s slumping constantly, whether to make himself less visible (yeah right like someone’s not going to notice the qunari even when he’s trying to make himself small), to go under doorways, or to feel like he’s making actual eye contact with others. he spent a lot of his life either being scared of the big bad qunari come to get his vashoth ass (and still does to some degree, despite knowing bull and despite knowing that the qun doesn’t consider vashoth as bad as tal-vashoth since they never knew the qun let alone rejected it), or trying to fit in with humans, and so he slumps.

13. Does your OC have a widow ’s peak?

Malia—a slight one. she’s a little terrified of what’ll happen when she starts to lose hair. 

Edric—also yes.

3. How many pillows does your OC sleep with?

Malia—not many. she often has trouble sleeping if she’s too comfortable—it sends her into too deep a sleep and she wakes up disoriented, which she doesn’t like. she generally sleeps with one, or two occasionally. she gains more pillows as she gets older, the aches and pains of spending nearly 40 years fighting catching up to her.

Edric—as many as he can grab. it makes him feel safer, loved, and he never got that sort of treatment (silk pillows! soft down!) before the inquisition.
