Today I realized how much sleep I wasn't getting all my adult life since children
A self portrait when I couldn't sleep...
My energy level has increased three fold since rediscovering my floating bed.
I have done more new and different activities in four days than in decades all due to sleep; glorious deep uninterrupted, drooling out the corner of my mouth sleep.
A 50th high school reunion is definitely not a common occurrence. Sat nite I saw old, wrinkly, stretched faces that used to be baby smooth young but their spirit shined through! It was like being in a time capsule. I mainly enjoyed observing and reconnecting to dear ones but did dance to Honky Tonk Woman with my old friends Tony and Nancy. The highlight!
My husband and I on our way to my 50th High School Reunion!!
Sunday I saw the last movie to screen in Malibu with the theatre closing down. Could you handle no movie theatre in your town? That's just not right.
Monday, 9/11, I walked through the rows and rows of flags on Pepperdine hill. No need for words here. (Click below for a video)

Tuesday, my friend Margaret and I went to an old fashioned soirée at an Eric Lloyd Wright house called the Montgomery House. A chamber orchestra headed by the hostess herself, a gifted musician and composer in her own right. Then a screening of the first Tom Sawyer movie from 1917. Shot in Hannibal, Missouri with Mary Pickford's little brother Jack. Maria, our hostess, accompanied it with her original violin score. Both clever and inventive. A real pro with her children accompanying her with sound effects and instruments.
Now as I lay in my floating bed I am reflecting on all this activity that played out with two Catagory 3-4 hurricanes in Houston and Florida, a full moon, and at home here a severe lightening storm. What is going on??!!
Love and peace out ~ pain is gone!! Thawed out frozen shoulders reported here!!! Most exciting news of all.
