I saw this news video about a TikTok bucket prank pulled by four teenagers that harmed someone, and I am truly disgusted by it. Like that wasn’t even funny, that was just a malicious act of idiocy! Whoever made that prank should be held accountable for it, also where are the parents of these kids?
But then I was looking through the comments of it and I saw someone saying this: “Internet need to be banned, blocked, & destroyed in the United States.”
That threw me off because, yeah I get where they’re coming from what with toxic people being on there and all, and I ABSOLUTELY cannot stand TikTok as much as the next person, but even I felt that this comment is a bit extreme.
Like don’t people need the internet to like communicate or do jobs with? If you banned the internet from America, then that’s only going to effect people negatively or cut people off from the rest of the world.
So yeah, don’t blame the internet, blame whoever made the prank, the people who hurt people, and the parents who don’t look after kids like this.
