Well, wait. What kind of project would I have been working on? A dizzy spell hit me for a second as years of education and base intelligence drained away. I vaguely remembered in the back of my mind having a much harder time in college with my painfully average mind.
Someone walked into my office and asked what I was doing there. Right, this wasn't my office, was it? I giggled, apologizing to one of the office associates, grabbing his outgoing mail and returning to my reception desk.
