Fall is approaching, which means Halloween is almost upon us. I thought this was the perfect excuse to start an army I've always wanted! These are my Nighthaunt, the Haunting of Frostfen Downs. The first few images are my converted black coach, the Seething King. I mostly just smashed bits from the Mortis Engine and War Alter of Sigmar together until I got something cool! The next two are of one of the Seething King's lieutenants, a cairn wraith called the Warden of the Stairs. He's a stock cairn wraith and was my test model for the color scheme and techniques for the army. Finally I've got one of many spirit hosts I'll be adding to the army. I've loved these models since they came out during the End Times and they were absolutely what got me thinking about a Nighthaunt army in the first place. I'm looking forward to adding some hexwraiths, as well as some bat swarms and a vampire lord from the Soulblight. Let me know what you think!

#paintingwarhammer Finished #hexwraith using my new #lightbox it's very cheap using an LED strip, it was $5 but decent until I can get a better one with multiple light sources and more diffuse lighting. And yes I could make my own, the last several I made but I wanted a more professional one as I slowly up my painting game. Reaper miniatures are some of the most fun minis one can get. They’re easy to paint, easy to assemble, and usually look pretty unique. At least for the pewter models. I’ve tried again and again to like the Bones line, but, I just can’t do it. The plastic feels too squishy and non-responsive.

But, a critique is not the point of this post. I recently finished up a few Reaper models to throw in with my AoS minis. I just really enjoy how quick and easy they are to do.

  Odds and ends Update Reaper miniatures are some of the most fun minis one can get. They're easy to paint, easy to assemble, and usually look pretty unique.
