This is a page for my Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and Middle-Earth SBG miniatures. I started this blog almost two years ago with almost no ability to stay focused on a project after two or three models, but now I’ve got two fully painted armies I’m very proud of and have a couple more well on the way! I love feedback and getting messages so feel free to ask me anything.

Sable Knights 3rd Battle Company, the Knights Questor

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but I wanted to share what I’ve been working on since October 2019. This is a complete battle company of my homemade chapter, the Sable Knights. Hopefully I can figure out how to take better pictures of the group and I’ll post them all! And yes, every squad, character and vehicle has a name.

Finished up Iden Versio and her droid. I like how about helmets look so did a head swap using a speeder bike pilot.

Another set of models painted for a friend. They’re doing the pilots in their own style but asked me to paint the speeders and tank separately. And with this, my first commission project is done!

I haven’t played Fallen Order, but I love the look of Purge Troopers!

I used phase 1 & 2 clone bodies, greenstuff kamas and printed heads from Skullforge for the squad, and the electrostaff model is a complete printed sculpt, again from Skullforge.

Painted up a friend’s Hoth rebels. I don’t usually paint for others but I’ve finished all the Legion stuff on my table and needed more!

Marvel: Crisis Protocol

I painted up the core set heroes and villains for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. These were just so much fun, and I even learned a new technique (red non-metallic metal). Also, These are the first pictures with my new camera, and it is a lot better than using my phone.

The Azure Aquilas, attached to the 1313th ‘Lucky Devils’ during the Heron Colony Succession over Hive Pegasus.

(I did not mean to make Blue Angels. I was going for a WWII pacific theatre look. I think it’s the yellow stripes, but I’m keeping them. The rest will be weathered grey.)
