nat 1, 3, 4, 10, 15, 19 for the dnd asks!!
YEEHAW THANK YOU CATFISH
Nat 1 - worst nat 1
Uhh ooh okay so. Mal, my feral sorcerer/rogue dragon child, was checking for traps on this pedestal which held the object our party had been after all campaign. People had died for it by this point. I rolled a fucking nat 1. Mal predictably found no traps, picked up the thing and was immediately set upon by a banshee. Chaos ensued.
3 - what race and class are you itching to play but haven't yet?
Ooooh I am DESPERATE to play a monk, I have a character just. Waiting for her chance. And the same with Kenku, I love those funky lil birds and I can't wait to play one
4 - if you had to make your character a different player race, what would it be and why?
Ooh boy uhh. For Mal, I'd make her a dragonborn (or half dragonborn). Because then she's more dragony (and her mother can hate her more. Sorry Mal). For Kasira, maybe a half-orc? She's soft and beefy and would make a nice half-orc. For Sabrahai... Aasimar. Warlock Aasimar would be so cool
10 - what got you into dnd?
Oh wow, I don't even remember. I played the board game versions as a kid, and when my friends got into it and asked me to join I said yes. And now, I just. Couldn't live without it
15 - most creative solution to problem/encounter/puzzle that you've thought of?
Definitely how we defeated the vampire named Harold in my campaign with Mal. Mal had been charmed by him previously and had agreed to clear this village that was giving him trouble. The charm was lifted, and our party planned a massive, low-key ambush for Harold for when he returned to the village. There's so many details but long story short we were sneaky as fuck and Mal used her expertise in sleight of hand to stake Harold while pretending to still be charmed by him.
19 - when has inspiration saved your ass?
Hmm we don't play into Inspiration points much but I do recall using one for Kasira, I think? I'd fudged my roll and inspiration definitely saved me then, but it was over a year ago and I wasn't taking notes at that point so I have no idea what it was for specifically
My DnD character started our campaign on a quest that kept her away from her gf, and at the end of it the whole party came back to her home city and we've had some fun times. My sorcerer has been able to spend every night with her gf and it's been gorgeous.
Now we'll be leaving on another mission and all of the long-distance-love songs in her playlist are hitting hard all over again
