We just received the PROFESSIONAL pictures from Mallory’s wedding! They were shot by a wonderful GODLY couple who agreed to trade some woodworked items Mike made for Photography! What a BLESSING!

We were lucky it was such a BEAUTIFUL summer day (AN: I only had to adjust the weather half a dozen times) with all of the flowers in BLOOM! This union must be truly BLESSED!

Can you tell that Mallory and Liam just LOVE that they can be so close to each other now ;) 

I just LOVE this pose, symbolizing Liam’s OWNERSHIP of her WOMB (AN: EW). I am PRAYING that their life will be full of many blessings, just like mine has been! Luckily Mallory is just 17, so she has many years to have as many blessings as the LORD will give her!

What a SWEET couple! Please PRAY that their marriage will be CHRIST-HONOURING and FRUITFUL!

Of course, I had to make sure they got a few shots of myself and my WONDERFUL husband as well! This day reminded me so much of my own BEAUTIFUL wedding to my Carson!

Mallory’s wedding is just a few days away, and Carson and I took the time to COUNSEL them on a GODLY marriage. Today we spoke about the important of the MAN acting as the HEADSHIP and ensuring his wife doesn’t stray from the path of the LORD. Of course, as a newly licensed PASTOR, Liam is PERFECT for this job!

Then we went on a BACHELORETTE party with some of Mallory’s sisters, sisters-in-laws, and friends! Of course, as GODLY ladies, we don’t drink ALCHOHOL or DANCE, but we enjoyed a lovely fellowship meal together at a local restaurant! 

After her ‘bachelorette’ party, Mallory GRACIOUSLY went over to Katie and Marcus’ house to help with their newest baby, Felicity! Katie is sadly feeling a bit OVERWHELMED with caring for her seven BLESSINGS, and it’s great for Mallory to have PRACTICE, since she’ll have her own babies SOON!!

(AN: Gracie being all judgy just cuz Katie doesn’t like having a zillion children. I accidentally gave her the ‘hates children’ trait, and she’s the DIL with the most children, so the poor Sim is absolutely miserable).

Meet the Kenneys! (Gen 1)

(AN: here’s a little summary post of where the Kenney family is currently at! I’ll keep this as updated as I can with kids, weddings, etc. Family pics won’t always be updated for my non-heir families as I’m lazy and they all have a ton of kids)

We’re the Kenneys! My name is Gracie, and this is my WONDERFUL husband Carson! We live in Willow Creek with our EIGHTEEN children!

Matthew is our oldest; he married Alexandria, and they have our FIRST grandchildren, Anna Grace, Matthew Jr, Elise, Brooklyn, and Josie! 

Next is Madi - she married Bryce, and they have six children - Bryce Jr, Lawrence, and James, and then TRIPLETS named Daisy, Poppy, and Michael - PLUS two STEP daughters, Elsie and Phoebe! 

Then there’s Marcus - he married Katie, and they have five children, Purity, Marcus Jr., Charity, Chastity, Justice, Warrior, and Felicity (with more on the way!).

Matilda is next, she married Edward, and has two daughters, Zoe and Emma! Unfortunately, they moved to San Myshuno and live a life of SIN, dancing to music and sending their girls to public school! Our precious Maya was unfortunately SEVERELY influenced by Matilda, and lives with her in San Myshuno now. We PRAY their hearts will be turned back to the LORD!!

Mary Grace and Meredith are TWINS; Mary Grace married Rohan and they have three children including TWINS of their own - Jonas, Marie, Melody, and Isla!

Meredith married Kyoshi, and they have three children, Carson, Gracelyn, and Noah! (named after myself and Carson! How PRECIOUS!)

We have had so MANY recent marriages! Molly-Rose married Michael, and they have TWIN boys (Declan and Antony)(AN: bonus points if you know who they’re named after)! Mason married Sarah Collins and they’ve just announced they’re expecting, Miles married Taylor Collins (they had a DOUBLE wedding with Mason and Sarah!), Marina married Bryant England and has one son (Elliot), and Max married Julia Warren and have one son (Hunter). 

We only have SIX children at home now! Wow! Michael and Mallory are 16, Morgan and Maeve are 14, Magnolia is 11, and our latest, precious, MIRACULOUS addition is Miracle, who is just 4!

It isn’t always easy, but somehow we make it all WORK!

Gracie here! My WONDERFUL husband Carson and I took two of our children, Mike and Mallory, out for dinner to celebrate their 17th BIRTHDAYS! This was a SPECIAL treat as dining is very EXPENSIVE, but it’s worth it for my two PRECIOUS twins! They are growing into such GODLY young people and we couldn’t be more PROUD!

We even ordered a cake for the occasion! Both kids got a chance to blow out candles. I reminded Mallory to only have ONE piece; she has to stay TRIM for her SPECIAL man ;) 

After we had dinner, Liam SURPRISED Mallory with a walk through the cathedral ruins near the restaurant! And I’m sure you can GUESS what happened next...

That’s right, Liam PROPOSED! Of course, Mallory said YES, and promised to be his MEEK and OBEDIENT helpmeet for the rest of her life! Liam promised to preside over her as her HEADSHIP, and to always GUIDE her towards the LORD! 

Aren’t they a BEAUTIFUL couple?!?!?? The wedding is going to be in six months, after Liam finishes school and gets his PASTOR’S license! I am so GLAD Mallory will be married at 17; I married Carson at 17, and we had EIGHTEEN beautiful children because of it! Please pray that Liam and Mallory will be FRUITFUL as well!

(AN: Liam gives me such awful vibes, and now I feel bad for a sim XD)

Last night we had a special FAMILY dinner, made by Mallory! She is becoming such a TALENTED cook - Liam is a very LUCKY man ;) We are so SAD that she will soon be engaged and married and leaving our home! Carson joked that we should keep her with us FOREVER!

Mike is also getting to know a SPECIAL young lady named Kinsley! Her family is from SULANI and they are NEW to our church. Aren’t they SWEET together? Mike is still a LONG way away from being ready for marriage as he needs to finish his carpentry course FIRST. 

With Mallory soon to leave our family :( :( :( we have started giving more responsibilities to the YOUNGER girls, especially Maggie! She’s almost a teen, so it’s the perfect time to have her HELP more! Her special Jurisdiction is the family bathroom, and she’s being very DILIGENT keeping it tidy!

My little Mallory is a MARRIED woman! She’s off on her honeymoon now (*wink wink*), but I have so many more pictures from the wedding to share! Here’s me admiring Mallory’s BEAUTIFUL wedding ring! 

Morgan and Maeve were two of Mallory’s bridesmaids! Mallory LOVES pink so we REUSED the bridesmaid dresses from Molly’s wedding years ago! (AN: aka the sim overlord was just too lazy to build a new venue and download new dresses) As you can see, Mallory chose ME as her Matron of Honour! I was so HONOURED to fill this role for my special daughter!

Carson spoke at the Reception and reminded Mallory to be a good HELPMEET for her husband, and Liam to be a strong and GODLY headship. Isn’t my MAN the best?!

Here’s Mallory with her BEST friend (other than Liam, of COURSE) Samantha Downing! Mallory and Samantha have been joined at the hip since CHILDHOOD and it was so lovely that she could be a part of Mallory’s SPECIAL day!

(AN: I wanted some big group poses with all the bridesmaids/groomsmen but my pose player has been malfunctioning whenever I try to do a pose with more than 3 sims, so unfortunately this was as good as it got :( )

Today we went to Hobson’s Bridal Boutique in Willow Creek to find a wedding dress for Mallory! It’s a wonderful MODEST boutique run by a godly lady from our church. 

She brought ALL of her younger sisters, plus her niece Purity (Katie and Marcus’ daughter). As you can see, the sisters and Purity LOVED giving their feedback on Mallory’s dress choices! This was one of our FAVOURITES, but Mallory didn’t think it was quite “the one”. 

Mallory LOVED this dress, but Liam doesn’t like ‘bohemian’ style, so it was out. Liam also prefers Mallory with her beautiful blonde hair DOWN and CURLY, so she has to pick a dress that suits that style.

We found the PERFECT dress for Mallory at the end of the appointment! We’re not posting any pictures of it to keep it a SPECIAL secret, but it’s very MODEST and draws the eye to her GODLY countenance!

We are just a few short months away from Mallory and Liam’s WEDDING! There is so much left to do, but we know that GOD will ensure it all gets done in his time!

Liam and Mallory’s ceremony was so BEAUTIFUL!  They wrote their vows themselves, taking inspiration from the word of the LORD of course! 

Here were Mallory’s vows: “My DEAREST Liam, Colossians tells us “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.” I have preserved my PURITY and my chastity, and now give my whole self to you. I promise to you and to the LORD to submit myself to your authority as you submit yourself to God. I pledge to HONOUR you, to follow your lead, to OBEY you in all things, and to accept as many children as the Lord blesses us with. I pledge to be a Proverbs 31 woman, and to serve and SUBMIT to you in all ways and at all times.”  

Weren’t her vows SWEET?! Liam promised to PROTECT her and lead her towards CHRIST at all time. Then they had their FIRST kiss at the altar! What a shining example of a GODLY couple!

We all CHEERED as they walked down the aisle as MAN and WIFE! Another daughter married off! Now we only have four daughters and one son (Mallory’s TWIN) left at home!
