I JUST BEAT BATEN KAITOS EWatLO

It is a really fun game with a really good story, there are 4 things which really stick out to me that I would change though, so full spoilers below the break.

Kalas' betrayal is great, his rejoining scene is awsome but the actual redemption itself feels a bit quick given it seemed very much his intent to betray, plus switching back to Kalas immediately afterwards felt a bit like "why tho?, Xelha is fine with us", so I would just make 2 changes to that overall thing, the first, when Xelha is going around freeing everyone from the Rifts, have the Boss you have to fight in each not just appear randomly, but be summoned BY Kalas, and then each party member gets a chance to say something to him, to let their calls out to him ring in his mind before the confrontation at the Empires castle. And the second thing, instead of just switching our guardian spirit protection just cuz afterwards, make it part of the purification thing, while the Ocean Mirror is pointed at him, tell Xelha we are going to jump into him to help him survive the darkness being pulled out of him, it just makes more sense in my mind, and will make the rejoining feel that much better.

This is more of a gameplay thing, but when we're in Kalas' grampa's shed getting his special wing, don't make us do the same boss fight 2 times in a row, that just annoyed me.

The scene on Earth, in the village getting destroyed by Malpercio, the fact Melodia and Malpercio just leave for no reason bothered me, I would make it so Malpercio is gathering power and healing after the attack in the Castle and only an aspect is sent down, a projection, which once destroy, gives Melodia a reason to leave without killing you.

Just... fucking remove that random Geldoblame boss fight in the Epilogue, it was so unneccessary, and completely ruined the somber mood, I was almost crying and it just... took me right out of it and made absolutely NO impact on the story.

OTHERWISE it was an experience, I loved it a lot! great game!!!!!!!!

Spiriter Week: Day 3

So last year I was a mess and gave up on drawing the Wicked Gawd Malpercio, resigning myself to a lazy ‘shop. I have rectified the situation.

So. Model AU. It’s Geldoblame’s fault (as it ought to be). Wicked Gawd is the fall lineup of Geldolamé Inc, an ambitious challenge against the Pro-Magnifique line of the ever-popular Wiseman’s and their competing dark horse, Earthchild Org., which produced the flash-in-a-pan success known as Deus En Machina.
