oh also, once a interaction with a psychiatrist:

me: so i’ve been diagnosed with bipolar type TWO, never had mania with psychotic break features, actually never was psychotic at all(*), also i haven’t had hypo/mania in literal years

psychiatrist: okay so i’m going to prescribe you a very strong antipsychotic med

me: what the. fuck

*which i later realize is not entirely true because realize actually low grade psychotic esp delusions entire life almost like developmental but for all intent and purposes what i said was not far off

i mean this is also the practice (idk if same psychiatrist but all of people there are fucking incompetent anyway i saw 3 psychiatrists from there) that… fucking fired me as a client because the psychiatrist who worked w me for 1 years can’t wrap her big brain around why i nonverbal and how it’s not anxiety and how i go around day communicate if i don’t speak??? essentially fired me for being a nonverbal AAC user 🤷 also because my neuropsych person ghosted me never gave me the results for half a year (now a year and counting) and when she asked for me to sign release form so she can reach out to neuropsych person i told her no everyone in my life have been trying for MONTHS left email text voice mail (voice mail fucking full) all with no response so lady you won’t be any different and she couldn’t wrap her head around why tf i said no and also why tf i am not comfortable releasing info to her anyway after she reacted bad to nonverbal AAC so she also fired me essentially as retaliation guised as “clearly we not compatible”

like where did you all go to med school where did you all get your liscence how tf are you hired
