Earthspark is such a great show that has only one season.
Random thought, but...
It would be super funny to me if the Malto's in Earthspark had extended family, like grandparents or cousins, ect.
Imagine Mo and Robby's Grandma came to visit or something and found out she had 5 new grandbabies that happen to be giant robot aliens.
Dot trying to explain to her Mom as best as she can:
"No, I didn't tell you earlier because they quite literally sprung out of the ground in the middle of us trying to fight the military-"
*Angry old lady mumbling in disbelief and happiness*

I don't think it's given enough thought or weight in the fandom that the Malto-bots aren't just first generation Cybertronians born on Earth, their adopted father is also an immigrant. Mo and Robby are also second generation immigrants/first generation Filipino Americans on Alex's side. Alex was born and raised in the Philippines. He talks about his hometown IN THE SHOW.
So the scene in S1 where they see the Transformers Go Home graffiti and Robby's reaction to being like Fuck That Shit has a different kind of weight imo when you realize that he already had a immigrant story in his family history. He would have stood up for his sisters either way, that's who Robby is, but he gets it in a way others maybe wouldn't because of their family history.
Also Happy Father's Day to Alex Malto, one of the best fictional dads in recent history for me. He doesn't get nearly enough love.
