A Brownie A Day #4

Updated my last day of school too soon so it did not include the funny moments with my happy pill Camalyn! Also, my date with Mamabrownie today ~

1. Colour up my life

Cute crayons display outside SMU library so boliao us posed with them! & who can resist colourful things?

2. Pork ribs, pork ribs!

Waterloo good chinese la-mian Zichar dish - salted egg ribs

The chinese la-mian is my secret find near SMU! I'm a sucker for good chinese handmade noodles hahaha. (It's better without chilli 'cause it's the braised sauce that's yummy.) Shared zichar dish w the study buddies - Gaelan, Jeremy & Camho. Yums, 'cause everything's good with salted egg.

3. Camwhore w Camho

Hahaha, obviously we're not in studying mood yet. & this girl just suddenly exclaimed that she wanted to try out a new camera app so we pranced around the gsr, climb onto tables and chairs (while Jeremy was still in the room). But at last, our efforts paid off!

Then I decide that 3 of us each is not enough, so I added a mirror effect. Hahhahahaha. Send Cam & her reply was so funny:

Cam: HAHAHAHHA that's 12 of us. Can you imagine the noise?

4. Momday (I very punny right?)

My cute Mamabrownie Charsiew cheong fun / Mango-prawn / Chive dumplings / Carrot cake

Cute Mama requested for her photo 'cause I was taking photo of the food. We ate at Boon Lay Raja (beside JCube) which serves really good dimsum. Look at how lightly fried the dishes are!! All for less than $20 (including service charge & GST).

5. Almost disfigured

So a jacket I bought arrived in the mail and I was a little zealous trying it on. The zip extends up to the top of the hoodie, but the hoodie's a tad small for my head so it's impossible to zip it all the way up...but I still went to try, and IT KIAP MY LIP!!! Omg, it was so scary and horrible. Thought my lip will split and I felt super helpless. Eventually, I bravely pull it down. & that's the most exciting part of my day! -.-

A Brownie A Day #2

1. Photo edits

Aside from blogging, photo editing is my new found favourite thing to do! :)

2. Suzz's 21st Birthday

To the nonsensical & happy friend who almost always bring a smile to my face. & she was truly so appreciative of any littlest effort from any of her friends for her birthday! It's always a joy to be around such happy people.

3. Lunner w Mamabrownie

My awesome mom drove me to Keat Hong Market to visit my optician (who is super cheap and nice!) to finally replace my then-just-newly-bought spectacles I unknowingly donated to Bedok Reservoir. Eventually decided on the same design, with a minor colour change. I'm boring, or maybe faithful.

We ended up at 371 Bukit Batok Street 31 which has very very good yam cakes and zi-char.

4. Updates on exchange!

I realized I don't need to apply for Visa 'cause (i) I'm heading to United Kingdom (instead of countries in Europe, or any other country for that matter) and (ii) my stay is shorter than 6 months. As a Singaporean (thus part of the Commonwealth), I can just apply for a visitor Visa for free when I reach UK! Yay, save money!

Confirmation letters have arrived from MBS and so I've started mapping courses again. And it's really, really, really hard to clear accounting options 'cause MBS don't offer accounting modules in Semester 2. Grrrr. This is so annoying. :( I'm trying my best and crossing my fingers though.

5. Bastille UK Tour

Sadly, sold out. :( & I would be in the exact same city studying. Such a pity. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. The only other artiste I would love to watch would be Pink. Nobody else. & Pink's UK Tour was in March/April 2013. I'm a deprived kid who's never been to any concert, and only 1 musical in my entire 20 living years so yea, I had hoped to strike it off my to-do list. Oh well.

6. On a happier (and ending) note, Happy Movember!

Decided to do this 'cause I had a bout of insomnia and I proceeded to sent them to my friends. Hahahha, I have nothing better to do. Oh, the 2nd one is actually a pair of bushy eyebrows and my personal favourite got to be the 3rd - it's rather stylish, no? Heh.

Trivial time: Movember is actually to raise awareness for prostrate cancer! (Qiqi told me after I sent her this silly photo, hahaha)
