according to my fellow kannada-speaking friend, “wonderful dear friend of mine” is “nan chinnada friend” ??? actually i think it translates closer to “my precious friend” but IDK, HE’S BETTER AT KANNADA THAN I AM

(i come from bengaluru/bangalore, where apparently the kannada borrows a LOT of loan words from english……..”snehita” means “friend” but i’ve literally never used that wording my life lmao)
